RailTel Shares Gain 2% on LoA from Bihar State Worth Rs 57 Crore

Shares of RailTel Corporation of India Ltd were trading 2% higher on 17 September after the company announced securing a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from Bihar State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation.

The company was awarded a contract for Rs 57.48 crore under the PM-USHA Scheme to create hybrid smart classrooms and ICT labs at various colleges and universities in Bihar. The deal is set to be executed by 16 March 2026.

Earlier this month, the State Project Director (SPD) of the Bihar Education Project Council (BEPC) issued the company a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for an order for Rs 209.78 crore.

In addition, we obtained a work order worth Rs 32.51 crore from Panvel Municipal Corporation, as well as another project worth Rs 70.94 crore from Nashik Municipal Smart City Development Corporation.

It has got a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the State Project Director (SPD) of the Bihar Education Project Council (BEP Council) for the procurement, supply, and installation of smart classrooms in Government Middle Schools. The projected order amount is Rs 2,62,14,38,750 and will be completed by 31 March 2026.

At 1:27 pm, the shares of RailTel Corp were trading 1.73% higher at Rs 403.80 on NSE.
