The RBI updated its Citizens’ Charter on 1st July, 2025, expanding it to cover 204 services and streamlining timelines for 11 of them.

Earlier split into two categories, the services are now merged under one unified charter for both regulated entities and the public.

Of the 204 services, 180 are available via the PRAVAAH platform, 14 are offline, and 10 are accessible through other portals, such as AAS and e-Kuber.

The move aims to improve access, efficiency, and transparency in RBI’s service delivery.

In its June 2025 bulletin, the RBI warned of rising global uncertainty due to trade and geopolitical risks, though India’s economy remains resilient.

Urban demand slowed in May, with falling car sales, while rural demand improved, reflected in higher two-wheeler sales and stable manufacturing and services activity.
