Redington Jumps 6% to Day High of Rs 264.80 on Apple Price Hike Reports

Redington Ltd
Redington is one of Apple's primary authorised distribution partners across India, the Middle East and Africa.

Redington Limited touched a day high of Rs 264.80 on NSE on 18 June, climbing as much as 6.38% during the session. The trigger was a media report quoting Apple CEO Tim Cook suggesting that price increases on Apple products may no longer be avoidable.

Redington is one of Apple’s primary authorised distribution partners across India, the Middle East and Africa.Β A large portion of what Redington earns comes from selling Apple products, particularly in its mobility segment.Β When Apple raises prices, the value of every device moving through Redington’s supply chain goes up, which is generally good for the distributor’s revenue.

The comments came after Cook told The Wall Street Journal that surging demand for AI data centres has pushed up competition for memory and storage chips sharply.Β Suppliers are passing those costs down the chain, making it increasingly hard for Apple to absorb them.Β Cook did not name specific products or give a timeline for any price changes.

Redington’s own business has been on a strong run. In Q4 FY26, the company reported global revenue of Rs 33,269 crore, up 25% year-on-year.Β For the full year FY26, revenue reached Rs 1,19,347 crore, growing 20% over the previous year.Β India was a standout market, with revenue up 50% and net profit up 41% in the quarter.

At 12:11 pm on NSE, shares were trading at Rs 262.51, up 5.46% from the previous close of Rs 248.92. The stock is listed on the Nifty Smallcap 100 index.
