Reliance Power has said that its 4,000 MW Sasan Power project has achieved 100 percent plant load factor (PLF) in April this year.
Reliance Power has said in a statement that “Sasan Power Ltd (SPL), during the month of April 2016, achieved Plant Load Factor (PLF) of 100 percent.”
PLF indicates capacity utilisation.
As per the statement, this has been the best in class performance among the large size power stations in the Indian Power Sector that benefits around 42 crore population served by seven procurer states of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand & Delhi.
