Isha Ambani, director of Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd (RRVL), announced at the company’s 45th annual general meeting on Monday that Reliance Retail would introduce new fast-moving consumer brands as well as expand its private labels to boost its participation in the FMCG industry.
“I’m happy to announce that we will start a fast-moving consumer goods company this year. The goal of this company is to create and provide high-quality, reasonably priced items that address every Indian’s daily needs, according to Ambani.
To promote its products in general trade, the corporation has appointed distributors. According to those with knowledge of the development, the plan is to expand the sales of its private labels from mom-and-pop shops into modern trade outlets as well as sell more products and pack sizes to general consumers. According to a person familiar with the company’s plans, Reliance follows the traditional trade approach with an amazing roster of goods that includes categories like flour, beans, staples, beverages, soaps, and hair oils, among others. In addition to toilet and floor cleaners under the Myhome brand and disinfectants under the Puric name, they include the snack brand Snac Tac and pulses, oil, rice, and flour under the Good Life brand.
Additionally, it offers beverages sold under the Yeah! And Bubbles brands. It sells branded cosmetics and personal care items under the Petals and Glimmer names at its retail locations.
Additionally, it has introduced goods in categories including deodorants.
Ambani claimed that the business has been bolstering the position of its brands in household goods, personal care, and essentials. Now, its brands will face off against established titans like Hindustan Unilever, P&G, Reckitt, and ITC Ltd.
