Talent supply chain software provider Prismforce has raised $13.6 million in Series A funding led by Sequoia Capital India. Prismforce will use the funding to enhance its product suite, enhance go-to-market capabilities and expand its talent base.

Founded in 2021 by Somnath Chatterjee, Prismforce currently operates in the US and India, with live deployments across some of the fastest-growing digital specialists and top IT providers. Prismforce’s talent supply chain software suite for skills management, talent marketplaces and forecasting help technology businesses plan, staff and deliver projects while providing career development for their employees.

“We currently have about ten clients and plan to double or even triple that number over the next 12 to 18 months. We are a team of 60 now, and we plan to double that number within a month, Somnath Chatterjee told the media.

The company will hire product and engineering staff and sales and marketing staff. Prismforce serves clients in the IT and IT services industries.

“Our core team has experience working in global technology and consulting firms such as Amazon, Uber, Infosys and McKinsey. We are seeing very good traction with global technology services clients. We are supported by product deployment and positively impact the business,” he added.

Prismforce’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) enables IT and technology services companies to accelerate profitable growth by digitising and transforming the talent supply chain.

The company focuses on English-speaking markets such as the US and UK and has a huge market base in India.
“Due to IT and IT services, India is a huge market for most talent. Even big companies like Accenture source most of their talent from India,” he said.

Sequoia Capital India and a select group of global angel investors led the $13.6 million Series A round. This follows Prismforce’s $1.8 million seed funding round a year ago from select industry thought leaders, serial entrepreneurs and SaaS founders. This brings the total funding raised in seed and Series A rounds to $15.4 million.
