Saatvik Green Energy Jumps on Rs 1,042 Crore SECI Order

Saatvik Green Energy Ltd
Saatvik Green Energy surges after bagging a Rs 1,041.63 crore solar module order from SECI.

Saatvik Green Energy shares touched a day high of Rs 428.50 after bagging a Rs 1,041.63 crore solar module order from SECI.

Solar Energy Corporation of India has awarded Saatvik Green Energy a contract to supply solar PV modules, with the total order value coming in at Rs 1,041.63 crore.

The company confirmed the news through a regulatory filing. The order is scheduled to be completed by December 2027, giving the company a multi-year revenue pipeline from this single contract.

SECI is a central government agency responsible for implementing India’s renewable energy projects, so orders from it typically carry long execution timelines and steady payment terms.

This isn’t the company’s only recent win. Earlier in September, Saatvik Solar Industries, a key subsidiary, had already secured a separate order worth Rs 297.5 crore from two independent power producers and EPC players for solar module supply.

Between the two orders, the company has added well over Rs 1,300 crore to its order book this month alone. On the financial side, the company’s most recent quarter told a different story.

Consolidated net profit for Q1 FY27 fell sharply by 95.49% to Rs 5.51 crore, while revenue from operations dropped 44.20% to Rs 511.01 crore compared to the same quarter last year.

As of 11:01 am, Saatvik Green Energy shares were trading at Rs 413.80 on the NSE, up 6.23% or Rs 24.25 for the day, having eased slightly from the earlier high.
