ITC, the FMCG major has appointed Sanjiv Puri as its chief operating officer with immediate effect.

ITC has said in a BSE filing that the board of the company, in its meeting “redesigned Sanjiv Puri, Wholetime Director, also as Chief Operating Officer of the Company with immediate effect.”

Sanjiv Puri, on December 6, had been elevated as Director of its FMCG business replacing P Dhobale.
