SBI Cards and Reliance Retail Join Hands to Roll out Co-branded Credit Cards

SBI Card and Reliance Retail to launch co-branded credit cards to offer rewards and discounts to customers.

SBI Cards and Payment Services collaborate with Reliance Retail to launch co-branded lifestyle-focused credit cards. Reliance SBI Cards will offer a rewarding experience to customers shopping at various Reliance Retail outlets.

According to the official statement, the Reliance SBI Card allows cardholders to unlock a wide range of special benefits, discounts and rewards while transacting online and at stores of Reliance Retail’s extensive ecosystem, ranging from fashion and lifestyle to grocery, pharma to consumer electronics, jewellery to furniture, and many more. 

Key retail brands under the diverse Reliance Retail ecosystem include Reliance Smart, Smart Bazaar, Reliance Fresh Signature, Reliance Digital, Reliance Trends, JioMart, Ajio, Reliance Jewels, Urban Ladder, and Netmeds.

Other than the above-mentioned advantages and rewards, card users can also avail of curated and customised offers rolled out by SBI Card on an ongoing basis.

The card comes in two variants, Reliance SBI Card and Reliance SBI Card PRIME, each bringing varied rewards and lifestyle perks for distinct consumer needs. The plastic cards will be introduced on the RuPay platform. 

Cardholders will have to pay an annual renewal fee for Reliance SBI Card PRIME of Rs 2,999 plus applicable taxes and Rs 499 plus applicable taxes for Reliance SBI Card. Upon achieving the annual spending milestone of Rs 3,00,000 on Reliance SBI Card PRIME and Rs 1,00,000 on Reliance SBI Card, users can avail of a renewal fee waiver.

Director of Reliance Retail, V Subramanian, said that the company hopes to offer exclusive discounts and rewards to its customers through the co-branded credit card with SBI Card, a leader in the card industry.
