SEAMEC has moved ahead with its offshore project pipeline. Its vessel SEAMEC III is sailing to begin the next phase of ongoing pipeline replacement works. The sailing marks the commencement of the second phase of the Part Replacement Pipeline Project. This project is part of the larger Pipeline Replacement Project β Group A (PRP-VIII A) and the DSF II Project.
Earlier, on 18th December, the company announced that it had issued a letter of award to Adsun Offshore Diving Contractors Pvt Ltd. They will provide diving-related services onboard SEAMEC III. These services will support the execution of the pipeline replacement activities during the project period.
Before this, on 16th December, SEAMEC had informed that the vessel had completed its charter with A.D. Engineers & Contractors LLP. With the completion of that assignment, SEAMEC III has now been redeployed for the ONGC-related pipeline projects.
The scope of work covers several projects. These include the Part Replacement Pipeline Project and the Pipeline Replacement Project β Group A (PRP-VIII A). Additionally, the DSF II Project of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) is covered. This underlines SEAMECβs continued involvement in key offshore infrastructure works.
SEAMEC, a part of the MM Agrawal Group, operates across two segments of the shipping business. This includes offshore support vessels and services, and bulk carrier chartering. The Mumbai-based company currently owns six vessels and one barge for its offshore support operations. Moreover, these operations are deployed across both domestic and international markets.
