Shiprocket and eBay Collab to Ease Cross-Border Shipping

G R Infraprojects shares dip to 52-week low despite bagging orders worth Rs 1600 crore from NHAI.

Shiprocket X, a cross-border shipping product of Shiprocket, has announced a partnership with global e-commerce platform eBay to provide cross-border e-commerce solutions for Indian small and medium-sized entrepreneurs (SMEs). This partnership will help Indian eBay sellers by delivering seamless and cost-effective cross-border shipping solutions.

eBay has partnered with Shiprocket X, enabling all eBay Cross Border Trade sellers in India to opt for Shiprocket X as their shipping partner for eBay shipments. By partnering with Shiprocket X, sellers can ship their products to more than 160 countries, including major international markets like the US, UK, Germany, Canada, and Australia. Additionally, eBay sellers will benefit from a comprehensive range of services, including carrier integrations, unified tracking via a single platform, shipment coverage, and automated workflows.

India is one of the top ten countries in cross-border e-commerce growth, and Shiprocket aims to enable e-commerce for Indian sellers and help them reach a global audience. Shiprocket X was introduced in 2022 to establish a sturdy e-commerce facilitation infrastructure for worldwide sales, commencing with a proficient and simplified logistics framework.

The partnership with eBay will enable Indian businesses to reduce time spent on logistics operations by seamlessly managing and delivering orders internationally via the eBay Global Shipping platform, a one-stop shipping solution designed for eBay cross-border sellers. As part of the inaugural offer, eBay sellers will be given special promotional pricing for their international shipments via Shiprocket X.

“With this partnership, our vision is to enable cross-border e-commerce for numerous Indian businesses and help them expand internationally via eBay,” said Akshay Ghulati, Co-founder of Strategy and Global Expansion at Shiprocket. “The all-inclusive services provided by Shiprocket X will enable Indian businesses to reduce time spent on logistics operations by enabling them to manage and deliver orders internationally seamlessly.”

Nitesh Maheshwari, Head of Marketplace Experience at INSEA eBay, said, “Given that many of our sellers are SMEs, we understand the importance of providing streamlined and efficient logistics options. Our partnership with Shiprocket takes us closer to helping sellers maximise their cross-border e-commerce opportunities.”
