Honasa Consumer Limited closed 0.42% higher at Rs 417.70 on 25 June, even as Belgium-based Sofina Ventures SA sold a 1.28% stake worth Rs 177 crore in the company through a bulk deal.

Sofina offloaded 41.78 lakh shares at an average of Rs 424.07 each, putting the total at Rs 177.19 crore. That price sat slightly above the stock’s previous close of Rs 415.95.

Whoever was buying on the other side paid a small premium to absorb a block this large, and the stock still finished the day in the green.

Sofina Ventures led one of Honasa’s early funding rounds in 2021, back when Mamaearth’s parent was still a private company growing through online channels.

Going into Thursday’s deal, it held 3.29% of the company as of March 2026. After selling 1.28%, its remaining stake sits at roughly 2%.

Early investors trimming after a 42% run in one year is not unusual. Does not mean they are done. Sofina still holds on.

What is worth watching is what Honasa is doing with its own momentum. The Gurugram-based firm picked up a 58% stake in Fluence Pharma, a Mumbai brand in hair therapy and nutraceuticals, and before that acquired Reginald Men to enter the men’s grooming space. Two buys in under six months.

The Q4 FY26 results give some grounding to all of this. Revenue from operations grew 23% year-on-year to Rs 657 crore from Rs 534 crore in Q4 FY25. Profit after tax came in at Rs 69.4 crore for the quarter.
