Shares of SPML Infra Ltd rose 2% to touch a dayโs high of Rs 290 on 11th July, after the company announced it had won a Rs 385 crore water production and supply system project for the Kekri-Sarwar Sector Package-III in Ajmer, Rajasthan.
The project, awarded under the Centreโs Jal Jeevan Mission, includes a 10-year operation and maintenance (O&M) contract. SPML Infra said this in an exchange filing.
Project Scope:
- Water Treatment: A 160 MLD plant will be set up in Kekri.
- Storage: Two clear water reservoirs with a total capacity of 37.75 MLD.
- Transmission: A 58.675 km water pipeline will be laid and commissioned.
- Tech Integration: Installation of advanced pumping systems, electrical and mechanical equipment, and a SCADA system for automated monitoring at the Kekri plant.
- Infra Work: Demolition of old structures and construction of new office buildings and staff quarters.
- Smart Monitoring: The project will be managed through a real-time SCADA system.
- Long-Term Service: A 10-year O&M contract to ensure smooth functioning and sustainability.
Chairman Subhash Sethi said the project would improve water security in Rajasthan. It also highlights SPMLโs ability to deliver advanced water infrastructure.
Earlier this week, SPML Infra also received approval for enhanced credit facilities worth Rs 205 crore. This is to support its EPC projects.
At 3:10 PM, the shares of SPML Infra were trading 2.07% higher at Rs 279.44 on NSE.
