The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, was trading higher by 62 points at 24,909, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Monday.

Earlier on Friday, 5 September, the Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped by 7 points or 0.01%, and settled at 80,711, while the Nifty50 traded 0.03% higher or 7 points, closing at 24,741.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 8 September.

Adani Power: Adani Power signed a shareholders’ agreement with Bhutan’s state-owned Druk Green Power Corp (DGPC) to develop a 570 MW hydroelectric project at Wangchhu. Both companies will form a joint public company in Bhutan with a 49:51 shareholding structure to execute the project.

Aurobindo Pharma: The company’s Unit-XII facility in Bachupally, Telangana, covering oral solids and injectables, was inspected by the USFDA between 25 August and 5 September. The regulator issued a Form 483 with eight procedural observations.

Adani Green Energy: Adani Green Energy, through its subsidiaries, commissioned 87.5 megawatts (MW) of renewable projects at Khavda, Gujarat, boosting its total operational capacity to 16,078 MW.

Zydus Lifesciences: The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) inspected the company’s injectable plant in Vadodara, Gujarat, between 25 August and 5 September, and closed the inspection with four observations, none related to data integrity.

PNB Housing Finance: PNB Housing Finance’s Board approved raising up to Rs 5,000 crore through non-convertible debentures (NCDs), with or without a green shoe option, via private placement in one or more tranches.

Hyundai Motors India: Hyundai Motor India announced it would fully pass on the recent GST rate cut on passenger vehicles to customers, reducing prices by up to Rs 2.4 lakh, effective 22 September, when the revised rates take effect.

BHEL: BHEL signed a long-term MoU with Singapore-based Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies to develop hydrogen fuel cell-powered railway locomotives. The 10-year exclusive agreement will help BHEL create a new domestic market segment.

Ceigall India: Ceigall India secured a Letter of Intent from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co (MSEDCL) to supply 147 MW of solar power under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 by developing grid-connected solar projects across Maharashtra.

NTPC Green Energy: The company announced signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with VOC Port Authority to set up a green hydrogen fueling station at VOC Port and deploy hydrogen-based internal combustion engine trucks for port operations.
