The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, was trading lower by 78 points at 23,790, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Tuesday.
Earlier on Monday, 7 September, the domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped by 382 points or 0.50%, and settled at 76,132 while the Nifty50 traded 0.50% lower or 118 points, closing at 23,867.

Adani Power: Adani Power has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from the Resolution Professional to acquire GVK Energy through its subsidiary Alaknanda Hydro Power Company. GVK Energy owns and operates a 330 MW hydroelectric power plant in Uttarakhand.
GE Vernova T&D: The company has emerged as the L1 bidder for the design and establishment of a 6,000 MW ±800 kV High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) LCC terminal station for evacuating renewable power from Barmer II to South Kalamb. The project will include two 3,000 MW terminals.
Arisinfra Solutions: Arisinfra Solutions, through its subsidiary Arisunitern RE Solutions, has secured an order from O2 Spaces, a partnership firm under the Vaishnavi Residences Group, to provide Developer-as-a-Service (DaaS) services for the Morning Mist residential project in Whitefield, Bengaluru.
Asian Energy Services: Asian Energy Services’ subsidiary Oilmax Energy has received a Letter of Intent from the Government of Arunachal Pradesh for a Composite Licence for the Pakro Vanadium and Graphite Block in Pakro Village, Arunachal Pradesh. The block covers an area of 155.46 hectares.
