The GIFT Nifty futures, which are an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, were trading lower by 9 points at 26,326, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a muted start on Monday. 

Earlier on Friday, 5 December, the Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex traded higher by 447 points or 0.52%, and settled at 85,712, while the Nifty50 traded 0.59% higher or 153 points, closing at 26,186.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 6 December.

Biocon: Biocon announced plans to merge Biocon Biologics Ltd. into the parent company, making it a wholly owned subsidiary. Founder and Executive Chairperson Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw said the integration will enhance value for investors and position the combined entity to better address end-to-end patient needs, particularly in diabetes care.

NBCC (India): NBCC (India) successfully completed an e-auction for residential units at Aspire Leisure Valley in Greater Noida (West), Uttar Pradesh. The company sold 175 units from Iconic Tower No. 13 for a total value of approximately Rs 485.41 crore through the online auction process.

HFCL: HFCL secured export orders worth $72.96 million (Rs 656.10 crore) through its overseas wholly owned subsidiary for the supply of optical fibre cables to an international customer.

Ashoka Buildcon: Ashoka Buildcon received a letter from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) awarding additional work under its ongoing flyover project at the Sion–Panvel Highway T-junction in Maharashtra Nagar. The revised scope adds Rs 447.21 crore to the project, taking the total contract value to Rs 1,573.79 crore.

Cochin Shipyard: Cochin Shipyard entered into shipbuilding contracts with Svitzer to construct four 26-metre fully electric TRAnsverse tugs with a 70-ton bollard pull, with an option to build up to four more vessels. The company will build the tugs to Svitzer’s specifications as part of its global fleet renewal programme, with deliveries expected to begin from late 2027.

Zen Technologies: Zen Technologies won a Rs 120-crore contract from the Ministry of Defence to establish India’s first Combat Training Node (CTN) at the Infantry School in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh.

RailTel Corporation of India: RailTel Corporation of India secured an international order worth Rs 14.4 crore from the Ministry of External Affairs to supply 2,000 AI-enabled laptops.
