The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, was trading higher by 45 points at 24,772 indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Monday.
Earlier on Friday, 13 June, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped by 573 points or 0.70% and settled at 81,118 while the Nifty50 traded 0.68% higher or 170 points, closing at 24,718.

Birla Corporation: The company has emerged as the preferred bidder for the Gourum Khan Ki Dhani (South) limestone block in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, after the company placed a successful bid in the stateβs e-auction process.Β
Sun Pharmaceutical: The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) inspected Sun Pharmaβs Halol facility in Gujarat between June 2 and 13 to assess compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). At the end of the inspection, the USFDA issued Form 483 with eight observations.
Natco Pharma: The USFDA completed an inspection of Natco Pharmaβs API manufacturing facility in Hyderabad from 9 June to 13 and issued a Form 483 with one procedural observation. The company expressed confidence in addressing the issue adequately.
Syngene International: The USFDA carried out a Good Clinical Practices (GCP) compliance inspection at Syngeneβs Semicon Park facility in Bengaluru from 9 June to 13. The inspection concluded with no observations, and the agency did not issue a Form 483. The outcome was classified as No Action Indicated (NAI). Separately, Syngene received an Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) from the USFDA for its Biocon Park manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru SEZ. The EIR rated the inspection outcome as Voluntary Action Indicated (VAI). This cGMP inspection took place from 10 February to 20, 2025.
NTPC: The Committee of Creditors approved a resolution plan jointly submitted by NTPC and Maharashtra State Power Generation Company for the acquisition of Sinnar Thermal Power, currently undergoing insolvency proceedings under the IBC framework. Additionally, NTPC declared the commercial operation of Unit 3 (660 MW) at the North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project, effective 15 June. This brings NTPCβs standalone commercial capacity to 60,266 MW and its total group capacity to 81,368 MW.
Godrej Properties: Mumbai-based Godrej Properties has announced plans to develop a premium residential project on a 14-acre plot in Hoskote, Bengaluru. The upcoming development is expected to feature around 1.5 million square feet of saleable area and generate an estimated revenue of Rs 1,500 crore.
