The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, was trading 0.19% higher by 47 points at 24,900 indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Tuesday.
On Monday, 7 October, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex crashed 638 points or 0.78% to end at 81,050 while the Nifty50 traded 219 points lower or 0.87% and settled at 24,795.75.

HDFC Bank: The company has announced receiving approval from the Board of Directors to sell 100% stake in its wholly-owned subsidiary, HDFC Education and Development Services to Vama Sundari Investments Private Ltd.
Ashok Leyland: The company has announced their plans to launch its first hydrogen-powered truck within 18-24 months and has also started deliveries of electric trucks to Billion Electric Mobility.
Lemon Tree Hotels: The company has announced the signing of a new hotel property, Lemon Tree Hotel, Udaipur, which is set to open in fiscal year 2027. This new property will be managed by the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Carnations Hotels.
Kalyan Jewellers: In its quarterly report for July -September, the company reported a significant increase in revenue by 39% that was driven by a 23% increase in store sales and growing foot traffic. Moreover, the reduction in customs duties on gold imports has also positively impacted sales.
TCS: The company is set to report a steady growth in its revenue for the July-September quarter on the back of the ramp-up of the BSNL’s 4G project.
Tata Motors: Jaguar Land Rover has recorded a 3% year-on-year decline in retails sales to 103,108 units during the Q2 of the current fiscal year.
Bharat Electronics: In its regulatory filing, the company has announced that they have secured additional orders of more than Rs 500 crore since its last disclosure on 11 September 2024. The major orders received include AMC for Integrated Air Command and Control System nodes, EMI shelters, spares for radars, upgrade/spares for gun systems, communication systems, etc.
Vodafone Idea: The company has expanded its partnership with Ericsson by securing contracts for the development of 4G and 5G technology in four new telecom circles.
Servotech Power Systems: The company has secured another order from the Nashik Municipal Corporation to establish nine EV charging stations in Maharashtra, taking its total to 29.
