The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, were trading higher by 181 points at 25,175, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Tuesday.

Earlier on Monday, 23 June, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped by 511.38 points or 0.62% and settled at 81,896.79 while the Nifty50 traded 0.56% lower or 140.50 points, closing at 24,971.90

HG Infra Engineering: HG Infra Engineering has emerged as the lowest bidder for a Rs 117.77 crore project to build an integrated material handling facility at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai, awarded by the Military Engineer Services (MES).

Devyani International: Devyani International, a major player in the quick-service restaurant (QSR) segment, plans to raise its stake in Sky Gate Hospitality from 80.72% to 86.13%. The company will invest up to Rs 106.25 crore in cash, executing the transaction in multiple tranches by 31 July 2025.

Cochin Shipyard: Cochin Shipyard’s subsidiary, Hooghly CSL, has secured an order worth between Rs 100 crore and Rs 250 crore from Heritage River Journeys Pvt Ltd, which operates Antara River Cruises. The contract involves building two luxury river vessels for deployment on the Brahmaputra River.

Garware Technical: The company, through its fully owned UK subsidiary Garware Technical Fibres UK, has signed a definitive Share Purchase Agreement to acquire Offshore & Trawl Supply AS (OTS). The Norway-based OTS supplies advanced synthetic cordage solutions to the offshore oil & gas, aquaculture, marine, and commercial fishing sectors.

Enviro Infra Engineers: The company has bagged new domestic projects worth Rs 306.30 crore. The company also made a strategic entry into the renewables sector by acquiring two solar power projects totalling 69 MW (AC) capacity.
