The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, was trading higher by 81 points at 22,663, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Tuesday. 

Earlier on Monday, 5 October, the domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex soared by 472 points or 0.66%, and settled at 72,382 while the Nifty50 traded 0.60% higher, up 133 points, and  closing at 22,620.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 6 October.

Juniper Hotels: Juniper Hotels has signed a binding MoU with Imagicaaworld Entertainment to acquire the operating Novotel Imagicaa hotel in Khopoli, Maharashtra, for Rs 248 crore.

HE Glascoat: HLE Glascoat’s subsidiary, Thaletec GmbH, has transferred its entire 100% stake in HLE Surface Technologies GmbH, a step-down subsidiary, to HLE International S.à.r.l., a wholly owned subsidiary. The transfer was completed effective October 5.

JSW Energy: JSW Energy has added 1,694 MW to its installed capacity since April 2026, including around 1.4 GW of renewable capacity. Following the additions, the company’s total installed capacity has increased to 15,147 MW.

Zydus Lifesciences: The company has partnered with MSN Laboratories to launch generic riociguat tablets in the US in strengths of 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 1.5 mg, 2 mg and 2.5 mg. Zydus and MSN Laboratories are the first companies to launch a generic version of Adempas (riociguat) in the US.

Marico: Marico has acquired an additional 24.09% stake in Satiya Nutraceuticals, raising its holding from 60% to 84.09% on a fully diluted basis. The aggregate consideration for the 84.09% stake stands at Rs 1,392.07 crore. Marico will acquire the remaining 14.09% stake held by the founder and certain other shareholders for Rs 592 crore in July 2027.

BGR Energy Systems: BGR Energy Systems has entered into a Master Restructuring Agreement with the National Asset Reconstruction Company, acting through the India Debt Resolution Company, to restructure outstanding debt of Rs 3,736 crore.
