Stocks in Focus: Lupin, Wipro, Bajaj Finserv, and Others

The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, were trading 0.07% higher by 15.50 points at 22,605, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a muted start on Tuesday.  

On Monday, 6 May, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex gained 17.39 points, or 0.02%, to end at 73,895.54 while the Nifty50 traded 33.15 points, or 0.15% lower and settled at 22,442.70.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 7 May.

Quarterly Results Today: CreditAccess Grameen, Sonata Software, Kajaria Ceramics, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, JSW Energy, Pidilite Industries, IRB Infrastructure developer, Max Financial Services, Indraprastha Gas, SRF, PB Fintech, United Breweries, Voltas, KEC International, Jupiter Wagons, Navin Fluorine International, IDFC, Jindal Saw, Latent View Analytics, Graphite India, Century Textiles and Industries, and Chambal Fertilizers are some of the prominent companies that are set to release their quarterly earnings for January-March.

Lupin: In its quarterly report for January-March, the company reported a 52% YoY increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 359.43 crore during the quarter and a 13%YoY rise in revenue to Rs 4,895.11 crore.

Wipro: The company has announced partnering up with Microsoft for introducing a suite of Generative AI-powered virtual assistants that are tailored for the financial sector. 

Bajaj Finserv: The company reported that Bajaj Allianz GIC underwrote a Gross Direct Premium of Rs 2,389 crore for April, while Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance registered a new business premium of Rs 689 crore. 

Godrej Consumer Products: In its quarterly report, the company reported a net loss of Rs 1,893 crore for the March quarter from Rs 452 crore net profit the company had reported in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. 

Route Mobile: The cloud communication platform service provider has recorded an 8.5% year-on-year decline in its net profit to Rs 95.2 crore for the quarter ending on 31 March.

Orient Electric: The company has commenced commercial production at its new greenfield manufacturing plant in Hyderabad, Telangana. 

Bajaj Healthcare: Dayashankar Patel has been appointed as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Management Personnel (KMP).
