The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, was trading lower by 42 points at 24,187, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Wednesday.
Earlier on Tuesday, 18 August, the domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped by 493 points or 0.63%, and settled at 77,235 while the Nifty50 traded 0.55% lower or 133 points, closing at 24,154.

Krystal Integrated Services: Krystal Integrated Services has secured a Rs 134 crore work order from the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation to provide integrated facility management services across the Mumbai and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar regions for three years.
Atlanta Electricals: The company has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) worth Rs 193.92 crore from the Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (APTRANSCO). The order covers the design, manufacturing, testing, and supply of 12 units of 160 MVA, 220/132 kV autotransformers.
Interarch Building Solutions: The company has announced securing an order worth Rs 128 crore from a leading international FMCG company for the manufacturing, supply, and erection of a pre-engineered steel building system. The project involves setting up a manufacturing facility for homecare, beauty, and wellness products.
HG infra Engineering: HG Infra Engineering has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from REC Power Development and Consultancy for constructing 220/132/33 kV air-insulated substations at Ranipur in Mau and Chunar in Mirzapur, along with associated transmission lines in Uttar Pradesh.
Hindustan Zinc: The company has increased the share of renewable energy in its overall power consumption to 22%, up from around 18% in FY26. The company aims to meet approximately 70% of its power requirements through renewable energy by FY28 as it expands clean energy use across its mining and smelting operations.
Ducon Infratechnologies: Ducon Infratechnologies has secured an end-to-end contract to supply and service a forced cooling network (FCN) system for the potlines at one of India’s largest single aluminium smelter plants.
