Stocks in Focus: Railtel, KPI Green, Zomato, Lupin, and Others

The GIFT Nifty futures traded lower by 48 points or 0.22% at 22,048.50; the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Monday. 

On Friday, 15 March, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex dropped 453.85 points, or 0.62%, to end at 72,643.43 while the Nifty50 traded down by 123.30 points, or 0.56% and settled at 22,023.35. 

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 18 March.

KPI Green: The company has emerged as the lowest bidder for a 100-megawatt ampere solar power project at Maharashtra State Power Generation Co. 

Zomato: The Deputy Commissioner of State Tax, Gujarat, has ordered the food delivery giant to pay Rs 4.11 crore in GST along with interest and penalties for the fiscal year 2018-19. 

Railtel Corporation: The company has announced receiving work orders worth Rs 482.55 crore over the weekends. 

Lupin: The US Food and Drug Administration has issued a Form 483 with one observation at the company’s manufacturing facility in Aurangabad. 

Torrent Power: The company has received a letter of award for a 300-megawatt hybrid project with a tariff of Rs 3.65/kilowatt hour for 25 years. 

Hindustan Aeronautics: A contract has been signed between the company and the Ministry of Defence worth Rs 2,890 crore for the mid-life upgrade of 25 Dornier aircraft along with associated equipment for the Indian Navy.

SJVN: The company has received a Letter of Intent from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for a 200 megawatt solar power project. 

BEL: The company has announced a second interim dividend of Rs 0.70 per share for the current fiscal year.
