The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, was trading lower by 44 points at 24,405, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Monday.
Earlier on Friday, 14 August, the domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped by 71 points or 0.09%, and settled at 78,009 while the Nifty50 traded 0.12% lower or 30 points, closing at 24,366.

Reliance Industries: Reliance Industries and Rolls-Royce have announced plans to collaborate on designing, developing, manufacturing and delivering a sovereign combat engine for India’s Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) programme. The companies will also explore setting up a dedicated Aerospace Gas Turbine Complex in India as a centre for advanced power and propulsion technology.
PB Fintech: The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has issued a show-cause notice to Policybazaar Insurance Brokers, a wholly owned subsidiary of PB Fintech, following observations from an inspection conducted between October 21 and October 25, 2024. Policybazaar will submit its response within the prescribed timeline.
Dr Reddy’s Lab: The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) has completed a GMP inspection of Dr Reddy’s Laboratories’ FTO-3 formulations manufacturing facility in Bachupally, Hyderabad. The inspection was conducted from August 6 to August 14, 2026, following which the regulator issued a Form 483 containing four observations.
Juniper Green Energy: Juniper Green Energy has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for 230 MW of contracted capacity under a Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy Round-the-Clock (FDRE-RTC) power project.
CESC: Purvah Green Power, a subsidiary of CESC, has received an LOA from SECI to supply 70 MW of Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy Round-the-Clock (FDRE-RTC) power from an ISTS-connected renewable energy project in India.
BEML: BEML has secured a $6.65 million order from Mauritius for the supply of BE220G hydraulic excavators for deployment across African markets, including Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and Côte d’Ivoire. With this contract, BEML’s international order book has reached approximately $119 million.
