The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, was trading 0.2% lower by 4.5 points at 22,416, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Thursday. 

On Wednesday, 5 March, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex surged by 740 points or 1.01% and settled at 73,730, while the Nifty50 traded 1.15% higher by 255 points, settling at 22,337.

RPP Infra: The company has announced that it is securing a contract worth Rs 80.98 crore to improve Chennai’s water supply. The scope of the project involves constructing feeder mains, underground tanks, and distribution stations to strengthen water infrastructure in key areas.

Zydus Lifesciences: The company has announced securing approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to market Dasatinib tablets in multiple strengths. Dasatinib tablets are a generic version of Sprycel, which is a drug used to treat leukaemia. 

Dalmia Bharat: The company has announced plans to acquire a 34.52% stake in Kilavikulam Rajalakshmi Solar Power Developer for a total consideration of Rs 3 crore, which is set to be completed in a period of two months. 

Wipro: The IT major has announced the launch of TelecoAI360 to help telecom companies improve services using artificial intelligence. The objective is to reduce expenses, improve customer experience, and strengthen network security. The platform has been developed with backing from ServiceNow and Wipro’s AI partners.

Tata Consultancy Services: The company has announced partnering up with Vantage Towers to launch a digital service platform to simplify the process of property owners leasing land for telecom towers. 

Route Mobile: The company, along with Proximus Global, has announced partnering up with Nokia to explore opportunities in network API solutions for supporting developers in creating new applications for enterprises.
