The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, was trading higher by 36 points at 24,928, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Tuesday.

Earlier on Monday, 8 September, the Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex gained by 76 points or 0.09%, and settled at 80,787, while the Nifty50 traded 0.13% higher or 32 points, closing at 24,773.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 9 September.

Strides Pharma: Strides Pharma Science, through its wholly owned subsidiary Strides Pharma Global, Singapore, entered a strategic partnership with Kenox Pharmaceuticals to develop and file multiple nasal spray products for the US market across diverse therapeutic areas.

RailTel Corporation of India: RailTel will set up ICT and ISM labs, smart classrooms, and teaching materials for schools in Bihar, covering Classes I–V and secondary to senior secondary levels, with project execution scheduled between December 2025 and March 2026.

HUDCO: The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority (NMRDA) to provide up to Rs 11,300 crore in funding over five years for land acquisition, housing, and infrastructure projects in the Nagpur Metropolitan Region.

Brigade Enterprises: Brigade Enterprises signed a joint luxury residential development project in East Bengaluru, covering 10.75 acres with a potential saleable area of 2.5 million sq. ft. and an estimated gross development value of Rs 2,500 crore.

John Cockerill India: John Cockerill India won a Rs 50 crore contract from Godawari Power and Ispat to engineer, design, manufacture, and supply a 6HI cold rolling mill for installation at Tilda, Chhattisgarh, including supervision of erection and commissioning.

Supreme Power Equipment: The company secured a new order worth Rs 10.02 crore from a leading Karnataka-based power company. However, the international order received in July 2025 for a 9 MVA power transformer from Mexico was terminated.

Bartronics India: Bartronics India signed an MoU with Net Zero Initiative to explore large-scale sustainable agriculture opportunities and generate carbon credits.
