Key Factors Behind Today’s Market Decline - EP
The BSE Sensex slipped below the 74,000 mark during the session, while the NSE Nifty 50 traded around the 23,300.

The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, was trading 0.14% higher by 34 points at 25,037, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Tuesday.

On Monday, 26 August, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex gained 612 points or 0.75%, to end at 81,698, while the Nifty50 traded 187 points or 0.76% higher and settled at 25,010.60.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 27 August.

Bharat Heavy Electricals: BHEL announced bagging significant order worth Rs 11,000 crore from Adani Power and its subsidiary, Mahan Energen, to supply equipment (Boiler, Turbine, Generator) and supervision of erection & commissioning for three power projects at Kawai, Rajasthan and Mahan, Madhya Pradesh. 

UltraTech Cement: The company has raised $500 million through a sustainability-linked loan with contributions from six banks. 

Sunteck Realty: The Realty major is looking to double the gross development value of its portfolio from Rs 30,000 crore to Rs 60,000 crore in three years on the back of a boom in residential sales in the city. 

Lemon Tree Hotels: The hotel chain has signed a licence agreement under its upscale brand, Aurika Hotels & Resorts, with Aurika, Surat in Gujarat. 

GPT Infraprojects: The company’s fundraising committee has approved the plans to raise funds through qualified institutional placement (QIP). 

KPI Green Energy: The company has received a letter of Intent for a 13.30-megawatt green energy project, which will be developed by its wholly-owned subsidiary Sun Drops Energia. 

Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals: In its quarterly earnings for April-June, the company reported a net profit of Rs 61.21 crore for the quarter from Rs 187.43 crore net loss reported in the same quarter last year. 

HCLTech: The company has extended its strategic partnership with Xerox to provide AI-driven engineering services and digital process operations.Β
