Stocks in Focus: Tata Consultancy Services, Kalpataru Projects, Rail Vikas Nigam, and Others

The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index, were trading 0.12% higher by 26.5 points at 22,608, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Friday.

On Thursday, 6 March, Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex surged by 610 points or 0.83% and settled at 74,340, while the Nifty50 traded 0.93% higher by 207 points, settling at 22,500.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 7 March.

Tata Consultancy Services: The company has announced that it is strengthening its partnership with Northern Trust, which manages $17.4 trillion in assets. As a part of the partnership, the company will deploy its BaNCS Global Securities Platform to streamline custody operations across 99 markets.Β 

Kalpataru Projects: The company has announced securing a new order worth Rs 2,306 crore in its transmission and distribution business vertical in the international markets and building projects in India.Β 

Rail Vikas Nigam: The company has announced securing a contract worth Rs 156.36 crore from South Western Railway for electrification and infrastructure upgrades, highlighting the company’s role in India’s railways expansion.Β 

Bharat Electronics: The company has announced securing new defence orders worth Rs 577 crore, including an order for electronic warfare systems, radar upgrades, and communication solutions for submarines.Β 

Brigade Enterprises: The company has announced the launch of its premium residential project in Chennai called Brigade Altius. The project spans 6.5 acres with a total development area of 1.4 million square feet.Β 

RITES: The company has announced that it is securing a contract to survey the Hyderabad-Bengaluru and Hyderabad-Chennai high-speed rail corridors using LiDAR technology for a total consideration of Rs 27.96 crore.

Laurus Labs: The company has announced its plans to invest Rs 833 crore in its joint venture with Slovenia’s KRKA Pharma. As a part of the 49:51 ownership, KRKA will also invest Rs 867 crore into the joint venture.Β 

Biocon: The company’s subsidiary, Biocon Biologics, has announced a strategic partnership agreement with Civiva Inc. to expand access to and affordability of insulin aspart in the United States.Β 

TCPL Packaging: The company has announced the opening of a new greenfield unit in Chennai that is set to increase the company’s manufacturing capacity of paperboard cartons, which will strengthen its presence across India, improve service capabilities, and enhance logistics.Β
