The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, was trading lower by 28 points at 24,000, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a mute start on Tuesday.
Earlier on Monday, 27 July, the domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex gained by 776 points or 1.02%, and settled at 76,835, while the Nifty50 traded 0.96% higher or 229 points, closing at 23,995.

Tata Motors PV: Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles said operations at its Sanand plant in Gujarat, where it manufactures the Tiago, Tigor, Nexon, and Sierra, have been severely disrupted due to flooding caused by heavy rainfall. The adverse weather has also affected the operations of several supplier facilities in and around Gujarat.
TVS Motor: The company has announced acquiring 1.13 crore equity shares, representing a 4.39% stake in its subsidiary TVS Credit Services (TVS CS), from Lucas-TVS for Rs 711 crore. Following the acquisition, the company’s shareholding in TVS Credit Services will increase from 80.76% to 85.15%.
Zaggle Prepaid: The company has signed a three-year agreement with Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) to provide its Zaggle Zatix platform and Corporate Credit Card Program for DICV’s fleet partners.
