The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, was trading lower by 21 points at 24,628, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a muted start on Tuesday. 

Earlier on Monday, 3 August, the domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex  gained by 544 points or 0.70%, and settled at 78,639, while the Nifty50 traded 1.60% higher or 391 points, closing at 24,774.

VVIP Infratech: The company has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) for sewerage works related to the proposed domestic sewage treatment plant at Mohammadpur Majri and Kanjhawala in the Union Territory of Delhi. The project is valued at Rs 198.50 crore and is expected to be completed within 24 months.

UPL: UPL announced that Mike Frank, Chief Executive Officer of UPL Corporation and a member of the group’s senior management, has resigned due to personal commitments and his decision to relocate to the United States. He will conclude his association with the UPL Group on August 31, 2026, after serving the company for four and a half years.

Meesho: Peak XV Partners and Elevation Capital are expected to sell a combined 2.3% stake, representing 10.5 crore shares, in Meesho through block deals. The deal could be worth around Rs 1,900 crore, with a floor price of Rs 182.08 per share.

One 97 Communications: SAIF Partners is likely to sell a 2.3% stake in One 97 Communications (Paytm) through block deals. According to sources, the transaction is estimated to be worth around Rs 2,002 crore, with a floor price of Rs 1,339.65 per share.
