Stocks in Focus: Yes Bank, KEC International, Havells India and Others

The GIFT Nifty futures were trading in the green before the market’s opening on Tuesday. Indices are expected to open on a similar positive note.

Domestic benchmark indices, NSE Nifty 50 and S&P BSE Sensex, rebounded sharply on Monday amid a rally in Asian markets. Nifty jumped 385 points or 1.80% to settle at 21,737.60, while Sensex climbed 1,240.90 points or 1.76% to 71,941.57

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on January 30.

Havells India: The executive committee of the home appliance company has approved an investment of up to $20 million in its wholly-owned subsidiary, Havells International Inc., incorporated in Delaware. The funds will be used to leverage new growth opportunities in the US.

KEC International: The construction engineering company has secured new orders worth Rs 1,304 crores for Transmission & Distribution projects in India, SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) and America and other Civil work and supply of Cables projects in India. 

Newgen Software: The software firm’s wholly-owned subsidiary has been awarded a seven-year contract worth Rs 97 crore for digital product development, operational support and related services to support digitisation in Singapore. 

Yes Bank: The commercial banking company has relieved Arun Agrawal, Country Head – Institutional and Government Banking, of his duties with effect from January 29, after he resigned due to personal reasons. 

Companies announcing their Q3FY24 Results today: Adani Total Gas, Astral Limited, Bajaj Finserv, Blue Star, Cochin Shipyard, Coromandel International, Dr Reddys Laboratories, Gillette India, IRB InvIT, KEC International, KPIT Technologies, Larsen & Toubro, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services, PB Fintech, Piramal Pharma, VIP Industries and Voltas, among others.
