Strides Shasun has received CCI’s approval for acquiring seven brands from consumer healthcare firm Johnson and Johnson.
Strides through the deal will buy Johnson and Johnson’s seven brands in dermatology, anti-emetic and pain management segments.
The brands that Strides will be acquiring includes Otogesic ear drops, Ethnorub ointment and Stugil tablets.
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) said that it “approves acquisition of certain brands of Johnson and Johnson by Strides Shasun Limited.”
