Sula Vineyards Slips on Debut

On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Sula Vineyards’ shares were traded at Rs 344.80 at a discount of 3.42% to the issue price of Rs 357 per share.

The scrip was listed at Rs 358, at a premium of 0.28% to the issue price. Also, the stock has risen to 363.40 and a low of 339—a total of 2.39 lakh company shares. Sula Vineyards was subscribed 2.33 times at IPO. 

On 12 December 22, the issue was opened for bidding, and it closed on 14 December 2022. The IPO price band is fixed at Rs 340-357 per share. All IPO proceeds were received by shareholders and offered proportionate shares sold by them.

This company is India’s largest wine producer, and the seller distributes wines under a bouquet of popular brands. Sula’s popular brands include Dindori, Rasa, Satori, The source, Dia and Madera.

On a consolidated basis, the net profit of Sula Vineyards was Rs 30.51 crore and net sales of Rs 224.07 crore in the second quarter of FY23.
