Sundaram BNP Paribas Home Finance has posted a 26.8 percent increase in its net profit for the second quarter ended September 30 at Rs 40.52 crore.
It said in a statement that the Chennai based company had registered net profit at Rs 31.95 crore during the same period of last fiscal.
It is a 50.1 percent and 49.9 percent joint venture between Chennai based non banking finance company Sundaram Finance and France based BNP Paribas.
For July-September 2015 quarter, the income from operations has marginally rose to Rs 242 crore as against Rs 238 crore of a year ago period.
