India as well as South Africa has granted a patent to Suven Life Sciences for a drug that is used in treating neuro-degenerative diseases.
Suven Life has said in a BSE filing that it has been granted “one product patent from India and one product patent from South Africa corresponding to the New Chemical Entities (NCEs) for treatment of disorders associated with neuro-degenerative diseases.”
It added that the patents are valid through 2028 and 2032 respectively.
