Swan Energy Shares Slip 2% as 32.83 Lakh Shares Change Hands Via Block Deal

However, the buyers involved in this deal are yet to be identified.

Shares of Swan Energy were trading in the red and 2% lower on 28 December after 32.83 lakh shares of the company changed hands on the bourse.

Around 32.83 lakh shares of the company changed on the exchanges for an average price of rs 500.58 per share.

According to the bulk deal data, the shares were offloaded by the foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) of the company, Hypnos Fund Limited, who held 32.92 lakh equity shares, representing a 1.25% stake in the company.

However, the buyers involved in this deal are yet to be identified.

In its quarterly report for July-September, the company reported a 14% year-on-year increase in its net profit to Rs 165.57 crore for the quarter from Rs 144.82 crore reported in the same quarter last year.

The revenue from operations of the company during the quarter stood at Rs 1,223.26 crore, which is a 52% YoY increase from Rs 804.3 crore reported in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

The company is engaged in a wide range of business segments that include energy, textiles, construction, and power generation, among others.

At 3:30 pm, the shares of Swan Energy closed 1.19% higher at Rs 514.80 on NSE.
