Shares of Syrma SGS Technology Ltd surged 8% to touch a day’s high of Rs 663.10 on 9th July. This occurred after the company announced plans to build India’s largest multi-layer Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and Copper Clad Laminate (CCL) manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh.
Syrma SGS is planning to invest nearly Rs 1,800 crore to set up a large PCB and CCL manufacturing facility at Naidupeta in Andhra Pradesh. According to reports, the project will be developed in partnership with South Korea’s Shinhyup Electronics for technology and marketing support.
Talks are in advanced stages, and the Andhra Pradesh cabinet is expected to approve the proposal soon. Syrma SGS may also apply for incentives under the central government’s PLI scheme and state-level support.
The facility is expected to be commissioned by 2026–27. It could add around Rs 6,200 crore to the company’s revenue, according to sources.
At 1:45 PM, the shares of Syrma SGS were trading 4.19% higher at Rs 640.90 on NSE.
