Shares of Syrma SGS Technology Ltd are trading flat after touching a day’s high of Rs 728.75 on 18th July, despite the company’s recent joint venture announcement with South Korea’s Shinhyup Electronics to manufacture multi-layer Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).

As per a stock exchange filing on 15th July, the JV will also produce flexible PCBs and related products, with Syrma SGS holding a 75% stake and Shinhyup Electronics the remaining 25%.

The Chennai-based company’s stock has seen strong momentum over the past month, rising nearly 35%. On 9th July, shares jumped around 8% after reports suggested that the company plans to build India’s largest multi-layer PCB and Copper Clad Laminate (CCL) manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh.

Later, Syrma SGS clarified that it had held discussions with the Ministry of Electronics and the Andhra Pradesh government in June regarding land allocation and incentives.

The company has also approved a resolution for a qualified institutional placement (QIP) of up to Rs 1,000 crore to support acquisitions or capital spending under the government’s component manufacturing policy.

In Q4 FY25, Syrma SGS posted over 12% EBITDA margin, driven by a favourable product mix. For FY26, it expects EBITDA margins of around 8%, amounting to approximately Rs 400 crore.

At 12:12 PM, the shares of Syrma SGS were trading 0.69% higher at Rs 719.15 on NSE.
