The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) ink a multi-year partnership to transform the finance, payroll and recruitment applications management of the world’s leading public service broadcaster. 

As per the partnership agreement, TCS will digitise the finance operations of BBC to improve efficiency and the pace and outcomes of the process. TCS will also provide management for the broadcaster’s applications of finance, procurement and HR functions.

TCS will power the broadcaster’s media business model reimagination and drive growth. Advanced analytics will provide insights that enable better and faster decision-making. TCS’s AI-driven collaboration suite, Cognix, will play a vital role in the partnership. 

To streamline BBC’s payroll function, TCS will deploy a new platform with an integrated analytics layer. TCS will implement its unified operations model to integrate the business process and enable a more holistic problem diagnosis.
