Tata Motors has posted an increase of 5 percent in the global sales at 81,333 units for the month of April that also includes that of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) vehicles.
Tata Motors has said in a regulatory filing that the company had sold 77,701 units in April 2015.
The global sales in the passenger vehicles category stood at 51, 749 units last month as compared to 51,021 units in April 2015 which is up 1 percent.
The sales of commercial vehicles of company has been up by 11 percent to 29,584 units in April from 26,680 units a year ago.
