Tata Steel said that the sales have increased by 10 percent to 2.33 million tonnes in July-September quarter this fiscal.

It said in a regulatory filing that the Mumbai based steel giant had clocked sales of 2.11 MT in the year ago period.

The sales grew by 6 percent during the first half of 2015-16 to 4.48 MT against 4.21 MT of same period of last year.

The production of saleable steel increased by 9 percent to 2.41 MT in the second quarter of 2015-16 from 2.21 MT in same quarter of 2014-15.
