Thomas Cook India, the integrated travel and travel related financial services company has announced the launch of ‘One Currency Card’ in collaboration with MasterCard Worldwide.
Mahesh Iyer, Thomas Cook India Chief Operating Officer Foreign Exchange and Head Visas said that the card is a single load currency (USD) with zero cross currency conversion fees.
He further said that “with exponential growth in multi national travel, the need of the hour was clearly a single currency card, sans the downside of cross currency charges.”
“The Thomas Cook One Currency Card, the first of its kind in India, brings Indian travellers a strong value proposition – zero currency conversion charges in a digital currency ecosystem,” he added.
