Torrent Power said that it has got approval from the shareholders for amalgamation of Torrent Energy and Torrent Cables with itself.

In a regulatory filing, Torrent Power said that majority of the company’s shareholders have given their consent to the composite scheme of amalgamation.

The group companies Torrent Energy and Torrent Cables would be merged with Torrent Power under the scheme.
