Transformers & Rectifiers Hits 5% Upper Circuit on Rs 166.45 Crore Order Win

Revenue from operations rose 51% year-over-year to Rs 559.4 crore.

Shares of Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Ltd rose 5% to hit the upper circuit at Rs 385.80 on 19th February after the company secured orders worth Rs 166.45 crore.

Hyosung T&D India awarded a contract for supplying single-phase coupling transformers and single-phase units for TBCB projects, to be delivered by the next financial year.

On 17th February, the company’s subsidiary, TARIL Switchgear, launched 245 kV High Voltage Bushings.

The company reported a 250% jump in consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 55.48 crore in the September-December quarter.

Revenue from operations rose 51% year-over-year to Rs 559.4 crore during the same period.

The company announced a 1:1 bonus issue of shares, rewarding existing shareholders with additional stock. It also plans a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) to raise up to Rs 750 crore for future growth.

At 11:48 AM, the shares of Transformers & Rectifiers hit the 5% upper circuit limit at Rs 385.80 on NSE.
