Shares of TVS Motor Company Ltd gained 4% on 3 March after the company announced its sales data for February 2025.

The company saw a 10% rise in monthly sales from 3,68,424 units in February 2024 to 4,03,976 units in February 2025.

While domestic two-wheeler sales rose 3% year over year to 2,76,072 units in February 2025, the company’s overall two-wheeler sales jumped by 10% to 3,91,889 units.

Its motorcycle category saw a 5% year-over-year gain in sales to 1,92,960 units, while its scooter segment saw a 24% year-over-year increase to 1,64,415 units.

The business sold 24,017 electric vehicles in February 2025, a 34% YoY increase.

On the international market, the company’s total exports rose by 26% to 1,24,993 units.  Two-wheeler exports rose 28% to 1,15,817 units in February 2025, while three-wheeler sales rose 14% to 12,087 units.

On 27 February, the company unveiled the TVS King Duramax Plus and TVS King Deluxe Plus three-wheelers in Mexico. These two three-wheeled passenger carriers, which look like vehicles, will be sold in Mexico starting in March 2025 through Motomex, the company’s official distributor.

In February, the company signed an agreement with Karnataka to invest Rs 2,000 crore over five years in order to build a global capabilities centre (GCC) and expand its operations in Mysuru.

At 12:42 pm, the shares of TVS Motors were trading 2.71% higher at Rs 2,285.70 on NSE.
