UAE Bans IndiGo Flights Till August 24

UAE has banned IndiGo flights for a week. The ban was forced after several passengers did not take the compulsory RT-PCR test at the departure airport. IndiGo has confirmed the news saying that due to operational concerns, all IndiGo flights to UAE are cancelled till August 24, 2021.

“We have notified all the passengers and will refund their tickets or support accommodation in other flights once we reopen operations,” IndiGo said. According to the latest UAE health requirements, each passenger needs to get a negative RT-PCR report at the airport 6 hours before boarding the flight.

The covid-19 test is necessary for passengers from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria and Uganda. All passengers with a valid UAE residence visa are permitted to travel to and by Dubai.
