Uflex a packaging solutions firm, is considering to invest Rs.1,700 crore to increase its manufacturing capacity and set up a solar project in Uttar Pradesh.

Ashok Chaturvedi, Uflex Ltd Chairman & Managing Director stated, “We have ambitious plans to substantially enhance our manufacturing capacity for flexible packaging in the next few years. For this … we endeavour to invest Rs 500 crore towards the project.”

He also stated that, the company is planning to invest Rs.1,200 crore for setting up a solar project. Furthermore, both the proposed projects are expected to employ approx 750 people at various levels.
