The US Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration banned Russian aircraft from entering and using its airspace. It will be enforced by the end of 2nd March.

The orders restricted operations of all aircraft owned, certified, operated, registered, chartered, leased, or controlled by or for the benefit of any Russian citizen. This includes passenger, cargo flights, scheduled and charter flights that will “effectively close US airspace to all Russian commercial air carriers and other civil aircraft,” the department added.
