Bengaluru-based Vecton AI has raised Rs 6 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Zeropearl VC, with participation from startup founders and operators.

The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its AI solutions for financial institutions and strengthen its presence across the banking, financial services and insurance sector.

Founded in 2025 by Himanshu Goyal and Gaurav Mandlecha, both BITS Pilani alumni, Vecton AI focuses on helping financial institutions move AI projects beyond the proof-of-concept stage and into real-world production. Its solutions are designed around areas such as automation, risk management, decision-making and customer operations.

The startup follows a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) model, where its engineers work closely with customer teams to identify business problems, develop AI solutions and deploy them within existing operations.

The approach is aimed at addressing challenges around integration, scalability, governance and compliance that can prevent enterprises from moving AI projects into production.

Vecton currently works with 10 mid-market and enterprise financial institutions, including several publicly listed companies. Its AI solutions are already being used in live production environments, rather than remaining limited to experimental projects.

The fresh funding will be used to develop more enterprise-ready AI products, strengthen the FDE model and expand Vecton’s reach across the BFSI sector. The company also plans to improve customer experiences and support better decision-making through AI-based systems.

The fundraise comes as financial institutions increasingly look for practical applications of AI that can improve efficiency while meeting strict requirements around security, compliance and data handling. Vecton’s focus on production-ready systems positions it around the growing gap between experimenting with AI and deploying it at scale.

For Zeropearl VC, the investment reflects growing interest in AI applications built specifically for financial services, rather than only general-purpose AI technologies. Vecton aims to use the new capital to expand its customer base and become a larger AI transformation partner for banks, NBFCs, insurers and other financial institutions.

The funding also highlights the increasing demand for enterprise AI solutions in India’s BFSI sector, where companies are looking to automate operations, improve risk assessment and enhance customer services while maintaining regulatory compliance.
