Shares of Waaree Energies Ltd grew more than 1% on 23 January after the company announced that Waaree Solar Americas Inc., a subsidiary, has started commercial production of a 1.6 gigawatt (GW) Solar Module line at its Unit situated in Brookshire, Texas, USA.
In an exchange filing, Waaree Energies said, “This is to inform you that Waaree Solar Americas Inc. wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, has today started its commercial production of 1.6 GW Solar Module line at its Unit situated at Brookshire, in the state of Texas, USA.”
Earlier on 21 January, the company completed the supply of 132.5 MWp solar modules ordered for Radiance Renewables’ commercial and industrial project. The company had manufactured and supplied 575/580 Wp n-type TOPCon solar modules for the project.
The order was given to the company by Radiance Renewables in July 2024.

However, at 2:12 pm, the shares of Waaree Energies were trading 2.97% lower at Rs 2,353.15 on NSE.
